Senior Audit & Assurance – External Audit (JRC, KSA)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team within the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) in Saudi Arabia. You will work on external audit engagements, building trust with clients and delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt audit referral instructions, clearly defining scope and audit focus.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions, distinguishing accounting judgments from audit judgments.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with stakeholders and understand their service expectations.
• Strong awareness of regulatory impact, risk management, and industry statistics relevant to audit engagements.
• Experience in coordinating with multiple audit teams and managing audit timelines.
• Ability to challenge audit plans constructively and propose efficient timing.
