Senior Consultant – Tech Risk

About the role

EY is expanding its Technology Risk service across the MENA region and seeks a Senior Consultant to lead IT and cybersecurity engagements in Jordan. You will work with diverse clients, helping them design and implement risk‑based solutions where off‑the‑shelf products do not exist.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver technology risk engagements with minimal supervision.
• Develop proposals, presentations and support business development activities.
• Produce high‑quality final reports for EY clients.
• Collaborate with executives and financial auditors on ITGC, ITAC and SOX matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT audit, information security or technology risk.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are preferred.

Required skills

• Risk and governance frameworks: COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001.
• IT systems audit methodology and execution.
• Internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), ITGC, ITAC, SOX compliance.
• Enterprise applications: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics.
• Operating systems and database fundamentals.
• Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DRP) principles.
• Fundamentals of cybersecurity, common threats and vulnerabilities.
