Senior DevOps Engineer – AI Hub (Amman)

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer in EY's AI Hub, you will design, automate, secure and operate cloud and hybrid platforms that power AI‑driven applications. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery pipeline, from prototype to production, ensuring reliability, security and repeatability on Azure and client on‑prem environments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with developers, AI/data engineers, product owners and security teams to architect and standardise delivery solutions.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for front‑end, back‑end, data and AI/ML services using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Define and evolve Infrastructure‑as‑Code modules and standards (Bicep, Terraform, ARM).
• Deploy and manage services on Azure (App Service, Functions, Static Web Apps, Container Apps, AKS) with robust release and environment governance.
• Embed security‑by‑design in pipelines (Entra ID, managed identities, RBAC, Key Vault, private endpoints, scanning and policy checks).
• Establish operational readiness through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks and incident response (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
• Support productionisation of AI/GenAI workloads using LLMOps/MLOps patterns, quality gates and monitoring.
• Enable secure cloud‑hybrid‑on‑prem deployments, handling connectivity, network constraints and integration with client infrastructure.

Required profile

• Senior‑level consulting experience with a strong track record of delivering cloud and hybrid solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data protection requirements in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to drive end‑to‑end delivery discipline in a fast‑paced advisory setting.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Static Web Apps, Container Apps, AKS).
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tooling.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates.
• Security services: Entra ID, managed identities, RBAC, Azure Key Vault, private endpoints.
• Observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.
• Automation of security scanning and policy enforcement.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps patterns for AI workloads.
