Senior IT Audit & Assurance Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its IT Audit & Assurance team in Jordan. You will work on complex audit engagements, applying innovative techniques and AI‑driven solutions to assess and improve clients' technology control environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and test the accuracy of client records.
• Plan, execute and document internal and external IT audits.
• Apply Deloitte’s IT Audit Specialist methodology, tools and computer‑assisted audit techniques.
• Analyse client accounting, operating procedures and internal controls over revenue and financial reporting.
• Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen the IT control environment.
• Manage engagement timelines, deliverables and ensure compliance with work‑plan specifications.
• Leverage AI use cases, including prompt engineering, while exercising professional scepticism and adhering to responsible AI governance.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in IT audit or related assurance services.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex control frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with client personnel.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development within a collaborative environment.
• Understanding of AI ethics, data integrity and firm‑approved AI tools.
