Senior Treasury Officer

About the role

The Senior Treasury Officer will support the Treasury Manager in overseeing daily treasury activities, ensuring accurate cash positioning, timely payments, and compliance with internal controls and delegation of authority. This role is pivotal for maintaining liquidity and supporting the company’s financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily bank balances and prepare the daily cash position.
• Support the preparation and updating of weekly, monthly, and long‑term cash‑flow forecasts.
• Process local and international payments, payroll funding, and supplier/contractor payments.
• Coordinate with banks on transfers, account administration, and banking documentation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding transactions.
• Support the issuance, amendment, and renewal of bank guarantees and letters of credit.
• Prepare treasury reports, cash summaries, and payment trackers for management.
• Assist internal and external audits with required treasury documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with the approved Delegation of Authority and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, CTP or equivalent is an advantage.
• 5–7 years of experience in treasury, banking, accounting or corporate finance.
• Experience in large‑scale projects (EPC, energy, infrastructure, construction) or multinational organisations is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in cash management, bank transactions and reconciliations.
