Technical Coordinator – ICLA, Humanitarian Partnerships Hub

About the role

The ICLA Technical Coordinator will support legal aid partners across the project cycle, ensuring high‑quality, compliant programming within the Humanitarian Partnerships Hub (HPH). This position provides technical oversight, strengthens partner capacity, and contributes to research, monitoring, and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical support to partners during proposal development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting, aligned with HPH strategy and grant management.
• Provide legal and technical assistance on civil documentation, legal status, and housing rights for refugees and host communities.
• Develop and maintain technical quality standards, guidance, SOPs, and tools for legal‑aid partners.
• Conduct technical reviews of partner case‑management systems and ensure compliance with NRC policies.
• Design and deliver training modules and technical learning sessions for partners.
• Contribute to ICLA strategy, logframe, and plan of action, including the development of technical indicators and M&E mechanisms.
• Support donor reporting, risk management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in legal‑aid programming and humanitarian contexts.
• Proven ability to provide technical oversight and strengthen programme quality.
• Capacity to conduct legal research, analysis, and produce actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with NRC policies, grant management workflows, and partnership coordination.
• No line‑management responsibility.
