Telephone Operator

About the role

The Telephone Operator joins the Guest Experience team at Sheraton Amman, delivering memorable service to guests through phone interactions and on‑site support. You will act as a first point of contact, helping guests navigate their stay and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming guest calls promptly and courteously.
• Assist with check‑in, check‑out and reservation inquiries.
• Process guest requests, provide local area information and coordinate with other hotel departments.
• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records of guest interactions.
• Move throughout the property, standing, walking or lifting objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, confidentiality standards and professional appearance guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Basic telephone etiquette and clear verbal communication.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 10 lb for extended periods.
