3D Designer – Immersive Technology Practice

About the role

PwC is hiring a 3D Designer for its Immersive Technology practice within the Emerging Technology labs, based in Amman. The role helps clients identify and use emerging technologies such as 3D visualization, immersive technologies and interactive environments to solve complex business challenges. It covers prototyping, research and development, planning and documentation of 3D assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop 3D assets and environments for immersive experiences, including visualizations, simulations and prototypes.
• Use 3D modeling, texturing, lighting and animation tools, and software such as Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity or Substance Painter.
• Ideate, research and prototype 3D solutions using VR/AR/XR tailored to clients' business challenges, and stay updated on 3D and virtual production trends.
• Evaluate how 3D assets and simulations can enhance user engagement and how immersive 3D fits into existing business models.
• Plan and manage development phases of 3D prototypes, coordinate with stakeholders, mitigate risks and report progress.
• Document the full asset development process, track timelines, budgets and resources, and share insights with stakeholders.
• Maintain the immersive 3D lab, support colleagues and troubleshoot 3D-related technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, 3D Animation, Product Design or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of AR/VR/XR content development, spatial computing and interactive 3D environments.
• Experience optimizing 3D models and environments across mobile, desktop and VR platforms.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning and IoT applications in business contexts.

Required skills

• 3D modeling, texturing, lighting and animation.
• Scripting in C#, C++ or Python for interactive environments (Unity, Unreal Engine).
