AI Automation & Business Analysis Specialist

About the role

The AI Automation & Business Analysis Specialist supports HyperPay's digital transformation by turning manual, repetitive work across departments into reliable, well-controlled automation, such as reconciliations, recurring reports, data checks and request handling in Finance, Operations, Risk and other teams. The role sits in the Data & Business Analysis function and combines business analysis with hands-on building of AI tools, workflow automation, SQL, Python and Power BI. It requires judgment about what should be automated with fixed rules, where AI adds genuine value, and where a person must stay in control, especially around money, merchant data or card data.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes, including their exceptions and controls, and recommend practical improvements to efficiency, accuracy and service.
• Work with departments to identify repetitive, manual, high-volume or error-prone tasks and decide which should be automated, simplified or left as is.
• Maintain a prioritized pipeline of automation use cases, recommending prototype, pilot, full implementation or stop for each.
• Design and build prototypes using workflow automation (e.g. n8n, Power Automate), Python, SQL and AI tools, with fixed rules for calculations and matching, and AI only where it adds clear value.
• Build controls into every automation: input validation, control totals, exception queues, human approval before any money movement, and protection of sensitive data such as card numbers.
• Monitor automations after go-live, investigate failures and exceptions, and document requirements, process maps, test cases, controls, user guides and operating procedures.
• Analyze operational, merchant, transaction, financial and performance data and develop reports, dashboards and KPI-monitoring tools.
• Turn ad hoc analysis into short, clear recommendations for stakeholders and management, and automate recurring reports.
• Validate data accuracy, reconcile data between sources, investigate quality issues and coordinate fixes with data owners.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, MIS, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, process improvement, automation or digital transformation.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes and working with business and technical teams.
• Good written and spoken English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience building automations or AI-assisted solutions, for example with n8n, Power Automate, Python or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Good working knowledge of SQL, Excel and Power BI or similar tools.
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks and cloud data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric or Azure).
• Experience or interest in payments, fintech or financial operations is an advantage; awareness of data privacy, AI governance and change control is preferred.
