AI Voice Recording Contributor - Arabic (Jordan)

About the role

RWS is looking for AI Voice Recording Contributors to join an Arabic (Jordan) voice evaluation project that helps develop the next generation of AI technologies. This is a freelance, remote project of about one month, starting immediately, with flexible, task-based work of around 4-6 hours per day. The rate is 6 USD per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Read provided text cards aloud and record them exactly as written (about 640 cards per person).
• Produce clear, natural, high-quality speech following the given guidelines.
• Speak in your natural dialect and accent, without adding, omitting or altering words.
• Re-record submissions if requested to meet quality standards.
• Use the internal recording platform to complete tasks.

Required profile

• Native-level fluency in Arabic (Jordan) with authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target dialect or accent.
• Advanced English to understand written instructions, and the ability to complete a trial recording.
• No imitation of dialects or accents that are not your own.
• Experience with speech recording projects is an advantage but not required.

Required skills

• Quiet room or recording space with minimal background noise.
• Computer microphone or headset with microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
• Ability to access and use an online recording platform.
