Arabic Homeroom Teacher – PYP (Amman Academy)

About the role

Amman Academy, an IB World School in Jordan, is seeking a passionate Arabic Homeroom Teacher for its Primary Years Programme (PYP). The successful candidate will join a bilingual environment, delivering Arabic language instruction to students aged 3‑12 while upholding the Academy’s values of creativity, integrity and educational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Arabic language lessons in line with the IB PYP framework.
• Maintain high levels of organization and time management in classroom preparation and assessment.
• Utilise solid IT skills to support teaching and record‑keeping.
• Foster a storytelling approach to engage young learners.
• Participate in school‑wide assessments, demo classes and interview processes as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching within the IB system.
• Strong communication abilities and a natural storytelling talent.
