Assessor Training Specialist – Gender Institutional Seal

About the role

UN Women is seeking a home‑based National Consultant to serve as an Assessor Training Specialist for the Gender Institutional Seal. The specialist will support the implementation of the Gender Seal, a national framework that recognises gender‑responsive practices in public and private institutions across Jordan.

Key responsibilities

• Design, adapt and deliver training sessions for assessors responsible for evaluating institutions against the Gender Seal criteria.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to assessors throughout the assessment process.
• Contribute to the development of training materials, guidelines and tools aligned with UN Women’s gender‑equality standards.
• Support the monitoring and reporting of training outcomes and institutional progress under the Gender Seal initiative.

Required profile

• Jordanian national, able to work remotely from within Jordan.
• Relevant experience in gender equality, women’s empowerment or related training programmes.
• Familiarity with UN Women’s strategic priorities and the national gender policy framework.

Required skills

• Strong facilitation and adult‑learning skills.
• Ability to develop clear training documentation and instructional materials.
