Audit & Assurance Associate – External Audit (Jordan)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team in Jordan. You will work on external audit engagements, supporting the delivery of high‑quality audit services to a diverse client base while developing a solid foundation in audit methodology and risk assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations and delivering tailored audit solutions.
• Execute audit procedures, adapt referral instructions, and clearly define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, and findings into the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to the overall audit quality framework.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting judgments from audit judgments.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in audit and assurance.
• Ability to understand regulatory impact, risk management, and business processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills across finance and non‑finance functions.
