Banqueting Sales Officer

About the role

The Banqueting Sales Officer is responsible for generating and managing corporate catering and banqueting sales for Daimeh & Al Karma. The role focuses on selling catering solutions, promoting meeting‑room bookings, preparing food and beverage packages, and ensuring seamless event execution from enquiry to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify corporate clients, institutions and organisations with catering, meeting‑room and event needs.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads, recurring clients and event opportunities.
• Contact prospects to introduce Daimeh’s catering services, meeting‑rooms, coffee‑break and lunch packages.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits and room walkthroughs to present facilities, menus, capacities and service options.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and booking confirmations based on guest numbers, event format, timing, menu preferences and budget.
• Follow up on enquiries, proposals and pending approvals to drive conversion.
• Promote meeting‑rooms for corporate meetings, workshops, training sessions and small events.
• Identify repeat‑business opportunities, seasonal catering contracts and annual corporate agreements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of menus, pricing, room capacities, equipment and booking terms.
• Collect client feedback, monitor competitor activity and share market insights with management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate catering or hospitality sales.
• Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with corporate clients.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting proposals and handling client enquiries.
• Detail‑oriented approach to preparing accurate quotations and managing event logistics.
• Knowledge of catering menus, pricing structures, room capacities and service options.
