Bilingual Copywriter

About the role

The Bilingual Copywriter will create clear, creative, and engaging copy in both English and Arabic for a variety of client projects. Working closely with creative and account teams, the role translates client objectives into effective content across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑form and short‑form copy, including video scripts, social media posts, website content, digital ads, print ads, and other communication materials.
• Write error‑free, compelling social and digital content in English and Arabic.
• Review, edit, and rewrite client and internal messages as needed.
• Identify key client messages and craft clear, creative communications.
• Conduct rapid industry‑specific research to add context and value.
• Collaborate with creative, account, and project teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables aligned with client goals.
• Maintain consistency, tone, and accuracy across all written outputs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in creative copywriting, content development, advertising or a related field.
• Strong bilingual writing ability in English and Arabic, adaptable to different audiences and platforms.
• Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Understanding of social, digital, and advertising content formats.
• Creative, detail‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of tone and messaging.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, project‑based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, advertising, English, Arabic or related field preferred.
• Based in Amman, Jordan, or able to support the Pomelo team in Amman.
