Business Analyst – M&A & Corporate Finance

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Strategy & Transactions team in Jordan, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance. The role supports clients throughout the deal lifecycle, from research and valuation to transaction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Research industry trends, company-specific information, and financial data using internal databases and tools.
• Assist in building and maintaining financial models that support client decision‑making and negotiations.
• Develop and analyse financial forecasts to estimate business valuations using comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF), and transaction multiples.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to test valuation assumptions.
• Analyse financial and operational data, creating visualisations to generate actionable insights.
• Prepare transaction collateral such as teasers, information memoranda, and other client‑facing documents.
• Evaluate a company’s operational performance, financial position, and capital structure.
• Understand business fundamentals, industry positioning, and growth prospects to support senior team members.
