Business Development Solutions Manager (Presales Manager)

About the role

The Business Development Solutions Manager leads a team of solution consultants, bridging sales and product teams to deliver optimal, cost‑effective solutions for customers. This role involves close interaction with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive revenue and ensure successful project activation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Business Development Solution team, monitor processes, and ensure best‑fit solutions at competitive prices.
• Engage customers to capture business requirements and deliver compelling solution presentations and demos.
• Develop sales strategies, review pricing, and align products with market dynamics and profitability targets.
• Coordinate with product owners to create sustainable, commercially viable offerings.
• Oversee strategic vendor partnerships, joint go‑to‑market initiatives, and partner programs.
• Lead the full sales cycle: forecasting, budgeting, lead tracking, and revenue activation.
• Handle team development, performance evaluations, recruitment, and compliance with Umniah policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Advanced experience (8+ years) in telecom sales, presales, or solution consulting.
• Strong knowledge of the local market, customer behavior, and industry regulations.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of telecommunications products and services.
• Expertise in building proposals and solution presentations.
• Project Management certification and technical certifications in security and networking.
• Proficiency with MS Office and English (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with MBATools, project management tools, and Salesforce automation.
