About the role
The Methods Department is seeking an experienced CAM Programmer to develop CNC machining programs using CAD/CAM software. You will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure component accuracy and optimize manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop CNC machining programs, tool paths, and process plans based on engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Analyze and optimize cycle time, tooling selection, and machining strategies.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to verify component specifications.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of CAM programming experience, preferably in aerospace or precision machining.
Required skills
- Solid CAM software proficiency.
- CNC milling.
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Interpretation of engineering drawings.
