Carpenter – Resort Maintenance

About the role

In this hands‑on role you will keep the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea looking its best by maintaining and repairing furniture, fixtures and wooden structures throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain doors, frames, cabinets, furniture and other wooden fittings.
• Carry out carpentry installations and adjustments according to approved specifications.
• Inspect wooden fixtures, identify maintenance needs and respond promptly to guest‑room and public‑area requests.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently while coordinating with the Engineering team for preventive maintenance and projects.
• Maintain clean work areas and minimise disruption to guests and hotel operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years practical carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
• Vocational qualification or trade training in carpentry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, fittings and repair methods.
• Ability to take accurate measurements, read drawings and follow instructions.
• Basic English communication skills and flexibility to work shifts.
