About the role
The Chef de Cuisine will lead the French restaurant at Four Seasons Amman, creating both classical and modern French culinary experiences for a discerning, high‑profile guest base. The role combines menu innovation, kitchen leadership, and direct guest interaction to uphold the hotel’s five‑star standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute classical and modern French menus, emphasizing premium ingredients and flawless presentation.
- Plan, organize, control, and direct daily operations of the Kitchen Department, ensuring consistent quality and safety.
- Oversee food preparation for the outlet, maintaining superior quality and consistency across all dishes.
- Design recipes, manage waste‑minimizing menu planning, and conduct tastings and pre‑service briefings for staff.
- Participate in regular operational meetings to coordinate with other departments and address guest feedback.
- Select, train, evaluate, motivate, coach, and discipline kitchen staff in both cold and hot production areas.
- Develop long‑term strategic plans for the restaurant’s performance and growth.
Required profile
- Culinary certification or degree from a recognized culinary school, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in leading a French‑style kitchen serving high‑end clientele.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and able to empower team members while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and work ethic.
