Chef de Cuisine – Lebanese

About the role

The restaurant is seeking a Chef de Cuisine specialized in Lebanese cuisine to lead its kitchen operations in Amman. You will be responsible for delivering authentic, high‑quality dishes while managing the culinary team and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the authenticity, consistency, and quality of all Lebanese menu items.
• Supervise kitchen shift operations, ensuring compliance with food‑and‑beverage policies, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Plan and manage daily food quantities, plating requirements, and inventory purchasing.
• Develop and update daily and seasonal menus in collaboration with the team.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to improve performance and teamwork.
• Monitor operating budget, control costs, and contribute to guest and employee satisfaction initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in managing a kitchen team and delivering Lebanese cuisine.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and relevant regulations.
