Cloud Engineer

About the role

An organization based in Amman, Jordan is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure supporting its goals. The ideal candidate has cloud platform expertise, a strong DevOps background and can build scalable, secure and efficient cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and maintain cloud solutions on OCI, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure scalability, security and performance of cloud environments.
• Understand DevSecOps and how it works on the cloud.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption and network security.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud.
• 1+ years of experience on OCI Cloud.
• Ability to improve security of mission-critical cloud solutions and to participate in building a DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline.
• Strong analytical skills and perfect written English.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of cloud concepts such as compute, VCNs, firewalls, load balancers, security lists, cloud governance and containers.
• Knowledge of OCI, AWS, Azure and GCP.
