Commis I – Airport Lounge & Transit Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commis I to support our newly launched airport hospitality operation, covering both an airport lounge with buffet‑style service and a transit hotel. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and kitchen team to ensure high‑quality food preparation, presentation, and hygiene in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in food planning, preparation and production according to company recipes and standards.
• Support buffet preparation, replenishment and presentation for the airport lounge.
• Contribute to food production for the transit hotel.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Help monitor and control food and beverage stock levels and support inventory management.
• Follow HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in hotels, catering, airport lounges or similar hospitality settings.
• Culinary training or vocational certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
