Computer Science & Digital Design Teacher

About the role

Inspired Education is recruiting a Computer Science and Digital Design teacher to join its Modern Montessori School in Amman in August 2026. The school is a CIS-accredited IB Continuum World School that combines the Montessori method in kindergarten with the IB programme, and offers a rich, inclusive environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that match the school's curriculum, policies and external assessment requirements, and individualise learning for each student.
• Assess students' in-class and at-home learning regularly and give targeted feedback to drive progress.
• Create a classroom and school environment where students feel valued, supported and ready to take risks in their learning.
• Work with colleagues to share best practice and develop professionally.
• Take part in co-curricular activities such as leading clubs and whole-school initiatives.
• Maintain open, constructive communication with parents.

Required profile

• University degree and a current teaching certificate.
• At least three years of teaching experience in an international programme (PYP, MYP or DP); accreditation will be taken into account.
• Near-native command of English.
• Passion for education and a proven record of excellence.
• Experience in pastoral care and student wellbeing, and in assessing progress and giving feedback, including in external assessments.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, and experience using educational technology in the classroom.
