Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring that work complies with design documents, safety standards, and quality expectations. You will collaborate with government and contractor engineers, designers, and surveyors to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and verify construction documents such as schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure construction aligns with approved documents.
• Review shop drawings, product submittals, and provide timely recommendations.
• Conduct daily site inspections, document findings, and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and submit project status reports and master schedules.
• Assist contractors with access and escort issues and safeguard government and contractor property.
• Monitor concrete placement, HVAC installation, start‑up, testing, and balancing activities.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, orderly, and safe.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction technology, or construction management.
• Minimum five (5) years of field construction experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; U.S. passport preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a residency visa for Jordan.
• Willingness to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust, high temperatures, and long hours.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant codes (IBC, NFPA, NEC).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and 2D/3D rendering programs.
• Experience reviewing concrete work and interpreting test results.
• Understanding of HVAC testing, balancing, and commissioning processes.
