Country Representative – Habitat for Humanity Jordan

About the role

The Country Representative serves as the primary focal point for Habitat for Humanity International in Jordan, leading strategic, operational, and advocacy efforts to advance safe, affordable housing.

Key responsibilities

• Align country goals with MENA Strategy and global priorities, overseeing annual planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Manage HFHI’s operational footprint in Jordan, ensuring compliance with donor, regulatory, and internal standards.
• Lead country‑level fundraising, partnership development, and donor engagement, including negotiation of MoUs.
• Represent HFHI in national forums, policy dialogues, and media, positioning the organization as a housing thought leader.
• Oversee financial management, procurement, risk registers, and audit processes for the country office.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in international development, housing, or related sectors.
• Strong track record in fundraising, partnership building, and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operations, finance, compliance, and risk in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
