Director of Event Management

About the role

The Director of Event Management will lead the planning and execution of all corporate and investor‑focused events for Lumia Partner in Amman. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape event strategies that reinforce the firm’s brand, showcase its investment products, and support portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the end‑to‑end event lifecycle, from concept through post‑event analysis.
• Manage the event calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing, sales, and investment timelines.
• Oversee budgeting, vendor selection, contract negotiation and on‑site coordination.
• Maintain strong relationships with venues, service providers and external partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and branding across all events.
• Track event performance against objectives and produce post‑event reports with actionable insights.
• Continuously improve event processes, standards and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong budgeting capabilities with a track record of managing event costs and financial performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present to executive and investor audiences.
• Sales and stakeholder‑engagement experience to support investor relations and partnership development.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, hospitality or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial.
