Equity, Disability, Gender & Inclusion Education Consultant (Remote)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an international consultant to provide technical and coordination support for advancing equity, disability, gender and inclusion within education systems. The role focuses on creating practical knowledge products, public goods and learning platforms that help country offices, ministries of education and partners strengthen inclusive and equitable education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate guidance, tools and evidence on inclusive education.
• Produce knowledge products, public goods and learning opportunities for UNICEF country offices and partners.
• Support advocacy and technical assistance to mainstream equity, disability, gender and inclusion across education programmes.
• Coordinate with UNICEF teams, ministries and external stakeholders to align efforts and share best practices.
• Contribute to evidence generation and monitoring of inclusive education initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inclusive education, gender‑responsive or disability‑inclusive programmes.
• Background in education policy, programme design or related fields, preferably with UN or NGO experience.
• Strong analytical, writing and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate across multiple time zones.
