ESG Officer

About the role

The ESG Officer will support the implementation of environmental, social and governance initiatives, reporting and data analysis across the Bank's activities, working with multiple business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the Bank’s ESG strategy, policies, initiatives and action plans.
• Collect, analyze, validate and maintain ESG data and performance indicators across business units.
• Prepare ESG, sustainability and regulatory disclosures and reports.
• Research ESG trends, regulatory developments and best practices in the banking sector.
• Assist in monitoring ESG KPIs, targets and performance against objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Risk Management or related field.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in ESG, sustainability, risk, compliance, reporting or consulting.
• Familiarity with ESG frameworks such as GRI, ISSB/IFRS, TCFD, SASB and UN SDGs is an advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
