External Audit Senior Associate – Banking/Insurance (Remote)

About the role

As an External Audit Remote Team Member Senior Associate, you will support key clients across the region from a virtual environment. You will gain exposure to the GCC market while delivering high‑quality assurance services for banking and insurance entities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Examine accounting records, supporting documents and tangible assets such as inventory, plant and equipment.
• Ask formal written and informal oral questions to client personnel to gather necessary audit evidence.
• Test internal controls and processes of the client organization.
• Research and understand industry‑specific information before engagements begin.
• Communicate progress, risks, issues and variances to the Manager or Partner in a timely manner.
• Take full ownership of external audit file completion.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with experience in external audit.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual team setting.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with managers, partners and client staff.
• Accountability for delivering high‑quality audit outcomes.
