About the role

SME Fund Jo, Jordan’s leading private equity fund, is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to support investment decisions and portfolio management. This entry‑level position offers exposure to valuation, due diligence, and performance monitoring across a range of small and medium‑sized enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare valuation models and build investment theses based on model assumptions.
• Analyze financial data, monitor portfolio performance, and produce management reports.
• Assist in budgeting, risk assessment, and market/competitive research.
• Support due‑diligence activities, data room organization, and post‑acquisition execution.
• Draft pitch materials, presentations, and internal reports.
• Track KPIs for portfolio companies and maintain structured files.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0‑2 years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of accounting principles and valuation methodologies.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Power BI for data visualization and performance reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with data‑automation and AI tools such as Daloopa or Microsoft Copilot.
