Financial Control Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Control Specialist to support our business growth by managing liquidity, tracking fund inflows, and providing accurate financial information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, consolidate and analyse financial data for professional accounting work.
• Prepare and record asset, liability and expense entries.
• Perform bookkeeping, posting and reconciliation of accounts payable.
• Monitor general ledgers, prepare journal entries, and handle fixed‑asset or inventory accounting.
• Prepare trial balances, financial statements and conduct cost accounting (COF/ROF) reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts and manage seized assets.
• Apply accounting techniques to ensure integrity of financial transactions.
• Identify discrepancies, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain advance payment registers and report outstanding advances.
• Drive process enhancements and automation initiatives, including incentives calculation validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1‑5 years of relevant experience.
