Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

Capital Bank of Jordan seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the preparation and delivery of high‑quality financial statements and regulatory reports. The role supports decision‑making by ensuring accurate liquidity tracking, budgeting, and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of standalone and consolidated quarterly, semi‑annual and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure timely submission of all regulatory financial reports required by the Central Bank of Jordan and other authorities.
• Manage the financial reporting close process, coordinating with Risk, Treasury, IT and subsidiaries.
• Review and validate financial data, reconciliations, disclosures and supporting schedules for completeness and compliance.
• Prepare financial statement disclosures, management reports and documentation for external auditors, regulators and senior management.
• Monitor changes in IFRS and Central Bank regulations, assess impact and coordinate implementation.
• Support external and internal audits and coach the financial reporting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably within banking.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements and regulatory reporting.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis and liquidity management.
• Ability to lead audit processes and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
