Freelance Claims Processing Agent – AI Trainer

About the role

This freelance position supports AI development for leading tech companies by evaluating and improving auto‑insurance claim processing models. You will work remotely on a project‑by‑project basis, applying your insurance expertise to test and refine AI decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated auto‑insurance claim decisions for accuracy, coverage correctness, and regulatory compliance.
• Create First‑Notice‑of‑Loss (FNOL) scenarios that include contradictions, decoy files, and outdated documents to test system robustness.
• Write and grade fraud‑flagging scenarios using structured reason codes and recommend SIU referrals.
• Develop subrogation test cases that apply state‑specific negligence rules and evaluate recovery likelihood.
• Document all test cases with clear answers, policy citations, and payout calculations.

Required profile

• Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance claims, legal services, or financial services.
• Recent hands‑on experience in claims adjusting or adjacent roles.
• Familiarity with auto‑insurance coverage decisions and state negligence rules.
• Professional credentials (AIC, CPCU, CIFI, SCLA) are a plus.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
