Grants and Partnership Manager - Jordan

About the role

NRC Jordan is seeking a Grants and Partnerships Manager to provide strategic leadership in grants management, business development and partnership development, supporting quality humanitarian programming in Jordan. The position is based in Amman on a fixed-term contract, renewable by performance, funding and need. Only candidates legally eligible to work in Jordan can apply; work permits and visa sponsorship are not provided.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the grants portfolio, ensuring compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements, project cycle management standards and reporting deadlines.
• Lead concept notes, funding proposals and donor reports, identify new funding opportunities and support donor engagement.
• Develop and implement the Country Office partnership strategy, aligned with NRC's localisation objectives.
• Oversee partner identification, due diligence, capacity assessments, risk mitigation and capacity-strengthening.
• Strengthen grants and partnership management systems, tools, SOPs and processes.
• Build relationships with donors, implementing partners and internal teams.
• Provide technical and administrative leadership to Grants and Partnerships staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience in grants and/or partnerships management in a humanitarian or development context.
• Proven experience in donor engagement, fundraising, proposal development, reporting and compliance with humanitarian donor requirements.
• Experience managing implementing partners and consortia, including partner assessments and capacity development.
• Strong knowledge of the humanitarian and development sector in Jordan, including NGO and UN operations.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
