Group Finance Manager – Healthcare

About the role

Sharif Eye Centers is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership across its Jordanian operations and GCC branches. The role supports the Group CEO, drives financial planning, and ensures compliance with statutory accounting obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly financials, budgets, and forecasts for the group and GCC branches.
• Monitor business performance against key metrics and recommend actions to improve profitability.
• Enforce internal controls, ensure statutory compliance, and oversee general accounting functions.
• Coach operational managers on financial principles and address financial enquiries.
• Manage taxation processes and collaborate with credit control and insurance partners to improve collections.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and propose policy, procedure, or process changes.
• Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and advise senior management.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability.
• Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and capital markets.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the healthcare sector.
• Proven track record as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in hospitals or related services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of healthcare financial management and statutory accounting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and capital expenditure evaluation.
• Ability to enforce internal controls and guide operational teams on financial matters.
