Head of AI Solutioning

About the role

The Head of AI Solutioning leads the AI Solutioning function, ensuring that opportunities are qualified, solutions are technically sound, and commercial strategies are profitable. This senior position combines enterprise consulting leadership, executive client engagement, and full P&L responsibility for the AI Solutioning Hub.

Key responsibilities

• Own opportunity qualification, assessing technical feasibility, commercial viability, and delivery capacity.
• Establish AI Solutioning governance, decision rights, review standards, and escalation processes.
• Review and approve AI solutions, architectures, and proposals before client submission.
• Define commercial strategy, including pricing, scope, risk allocation, and delivery considerations.
• Lead technical and business presentations with CIO, CDO, CTO, and CFO‑level stakeholders.
• Build and maintain executive relationships across strategic client accounts.
• Own Hub P&L, managing resourcing, hiring, utilization, and margins.
• Lead solution and architecture review gates throughout the sales cycle.
• Resolve escalations between solutioning and delivery teams.
• Represent the AI Solutioning function in leadership and account‑planning forums.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing technical presales/solutioning team.

Required profile

• 15–20+ years of enterprise technology, consulting, or solution leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML or data platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI architecture, delivery methodologies, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing the complete sales‑to‑delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent executive presence and ability to lead board‑level discussions.
• Demonstrated talent leadership building technical presales teams.
• Experience in commercial negotiations, scope management, and client relationship management.
