Head of Operations

About the role

MS Pharma is seeking a transformational Head of Operations to lead its manufacturing sites toward a high‑performing, future‑ready organization. The executive will be responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people while embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute manufacturing and operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead site operations across production, engineering, planning, and supply processes.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with GMP, HSE, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Optimize performance, productivity, efficiency, and cost structures.
• Build organizational capability through succession planning and leadership development.
• Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, and Commercial teams.
• Lead digitalization, sustainability, and business continuity projects.
• Maintain audit readiness and manage successful regulatory inspections.
• Foster a high‑performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Operations or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality operations.
• At least 5 years in senior plant or manufacturing leadership roles.
• Proven track record in operational transformation and cost optimisation.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
