Heart of House Specialist

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential back‑of‑house operations across the hotel’s kitchen, food‑and‑beverage and laundry areas. Working at our W Hotels property in Amman, you will ensure that guests enjoy clean linen, spotless tableware and well‑maintained facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and handle clean linen and dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dish‑washing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens between hotel departments efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and reaching overhead or below knee level.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain a positive work environment and achieve team goals.

Required profile

• No formal education requirement (high school diploma or GED not mandatory).
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as described.
• Willingness to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance.

Required skills

• Dishwashing machine operation.
• Linen washer and dryer operation.
• Basic cleaning equipment maintenance.
