About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to join our front‑of‑house team at a Westin property in Aqaba. This casual, full‑time position involves greeting guests, managing seating, and ensuring a welcoming dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and verify that each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and any required items.
• Monitor dining room flow, adjust seating for groups with special needs, and keep work areas tidy using clean‑as‑you‑go practices.
• Maintain current, clean, and wrinkle‑free menus.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies; report any incidents.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and support teammates to achieve common goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lb for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and commitment to confidentiality.
