About the role
The Host/Hostess greets guests, manages seating, and ensures a welcoming dining environment at a Marriott hotel in Amman. This front‑of‑house position is essential for delivering a high‑quality guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, properly set tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, monitor dining room safety, and ensure menus are current and presentable.
- Assist guests with special seating needs, pull out chairs, and provide menus and napkins.
- Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and uphold uniform standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and clear communication skills.
