About the role
The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and facilities meet Marriott's quality standards after cleaning. This role coordinates daily housekeeping activities, liaises with engineering, front office, and laundry, and supports management in staff development.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and report discrepancies.
- Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning, and update departing room statuses.
- Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to resolve issues.
- Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments and shift information.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
- Willingness to work on‑site full‑time and follow safety and company policies.
