Integration / API Engineer (.NET)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level Integration / API Engineer with strong .NET experience to develop and maintain APIs that connect internal systems with national platforms and government services. The role is onsite in Jordan with possible travel to Saudi Arabia during the contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and update .NET/C# integration components and APIs for payment gateways and public‑service platforms.
• Validate data mappings, manage secure authentication, and handle error scenarios such as timeouts, retries and duplicate requests.
• Collaborate with QA teams to test API behavior and external‑service failure cases, and maintain technical interface specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of software engineering experience with a focus on API integration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot independently using logs, database queries and test tools.

Required skills

• .NET / C# development (ASP.NET Core preferred).
• API design and implementation, HTTP/JSON interfaces, payload mapping.
• Experience with payment integrations and handling callbacks (preferred).
