Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Audit Specialist to strengthen our internal audit function. In this role you will conduct audits, analyse data for trends and anomalies, and help drive effective risk mitigation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audits, projects and ad‑hoc activities, including testing procedures and evaluating control deficiencies.
• Analyze data using various tools to detect trends, anomalies and potential risks.
• Prepare audit findings, document observations and recommend remediation plans in line with internal auditing standards.
• Review work performed by other internal audit personnel to ensure quality and consistency.
• Communicate issues and risks clearly to management to secure buy‑in for constructive change.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (engineering, data science welcomed).
• Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) is a plus.
• 1‑2 years of experience in internal audit with strong knowledge of internal controls.
• Prior experience in the FMCG sector is advantageous.
• Fluent reporting skills in both Arabic and English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, mathematical and time‑management abilities.
