IT Audit – Senior Associate

About the role

KPMG is seeking a motivated IT Audit Senior Associate to join its growing IT Audit team in Amman. You will play a key part in evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT controls, supporting information system audits, and helping to strengthen the firm’s risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assist supervisors and managers in planning and executing IT audits.
• Conduct walkthroughs of IT environments to assess entity‑level controls.
• Test General IT Controls (GITCs) and IT Automated Controls (ITACs).
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather audit evidence.
• Prepare clear, accurate audit documentation in line with professional standards.
• Identify and report control gaps and recommend remediation.
• Stay up‑to‑date on emerging technologies, IT risks, and best practices in auditing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, AI, Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant experience auditing IT systems and automated business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and business processes is a plus.

Required skills

• CISA certification (preferred)
