Junior Accounting Intern

About the role

Join Freudenberg Vileda Jordan Ltd as a Junior Accounting Intern and support our finance team in day‑to‑day accounting operations. This on‑site position in Amman offers hands‑on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting documentation such as payment vouchers, contracts, invoices, and reports.
• Assist with daily accounting tasks and month‑end closing, including AP, inventory accounting, and reconciliations.
• Prepare, verify, and file financial records and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with various finance functions to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Support AP and AR processes, reviewing invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Record supplier invoices in the accounting system while following internal controls.
• Perform data entry, filing, and document management to ensure proper record retention.
• Participate in special projects and additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
