About the role
Cargill is seeking a Key Account Manager focused on ruminant markets within its specialized portfolio enterprise. The role will drive sales growth across new and existing segments in the MEA region, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and delivering tailored animal nutrition solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into actionable business strategies to capture commercial sales.
- Create demand for Cargill’s ruminant products by raising their profile with customers.
- Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities, calculating return on investment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and align development activities with company goals.
- Set revenue targets, prioritize market segments and execute sales plans to protect, grow and diversify key accounts.
- Participate in regular strategy meetings with senior customer management to understand and meet their needs.
- Travel frequently across the Middle East and handle complex issues independently.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of experience working with ruminants.
- Five to ten years of combined sales, marketing and business development experience preferred.
- Strong ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and hold self and others accountable.
