KG Arabic Homeroom Teacher

About the role

The Kindergarten Arabic Homeroom Teacher will join Amman Academy’s vibrant early‑years team, delivering bilingual Arabic instruction to young learners in a International Baccalaureate (IB) environment. The role focuses on creating an engaging, inclusive classroom where students develop strong language foundations while embracing the Academy’s values of creativity, integrity and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Arabic language lessons for KG students, aligning with the IB curriculum.
• Develop age‑appropriate resources and activities that foster curiosity and cultural awareness.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff and parents to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe, respectful classroom environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic language or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience teaching Arabic at the early‑years level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the IB framework.
• Strong communication, organization and time‑management abilities.
• Commitment to the Academy’s values: creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect, discipline and educational excellence.

Required skills

• Solid IT skills for lesson planning and classroom management.
