KG Arabic Homeroom Teacher

About the role

Amman Academy, an IB World School located in West Amman, is looking for a qualified Arabic Homeroom Teacher for its Kindergarten (KG) programme. The school offers a bilingual education in English and Arabic for children aged 3 to 19 and follows the International Baccalaureate framework.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Arabic language instruction to KG students in line with the IB curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate bilingual teaching approaches.
• Participate in written and subject‑specific assessments, demo classes and interview processes as part of the recruitment and ongoing evaluation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Arabic language or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of teaching experience in a similar setting.
• Previous knowledge of the IB system is essential.
