Lab Supervisor, Nutrition & Health Psychology

About the role

The American University of Madaba is recruiting a Lab Supervisor within its Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition & Health Psychology. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and a Licensed Clinical Dietitian / Nutritionist qualification from the Ministry of Health.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics
• Licensed Clinical Dietitian / Nutritionist from the Ministry of Health
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary management for various health conditions
• Knowledge of nutritional assessment methods and diet planning strategies
• Ability to design, implement and monitor individualized diet plans and community nutrition programs
• Previous work experience in an academic or healthcare institute is an advantage
• Effective verbal and written communication in English for patient counseling and professional reporting

Required skills

• Competence in nutrition-related software and IT tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
